Welcome to the Šalanda Lounge, a unique room hidden in the lagering cellars of the Plzeňský Prazdroj brewery.
It is right here where you can enjoy nonfiltered Pilsner Urquell beer which ferments in oak barrels and matures in lagering barrels. This beer is special because yeast is not removed from it, which lends it its unique taste. In addition, cellarmen will serve it to you in three-litre metal vessels throughout the duration of your session.
Back in the old days, brewery servants used šalandas for resting and for entertainment. Now it serves you for fun as well! Treat yourself to three hours with friends, without a mobile phone signal and with delicious Czech dishes, such as brewery goulash, schnitzels, knuckle of pork, beef steak tartare, a selection of salamis and smoked meat, or a selection of cheeses.

Up to 30 people can meet up in the Small Šalanda Lounge. It is the ideal venue for get-togethers, bachelor parties and other special events. When you enter, you are immersed in an authentic brewery paradise. Historical tools made by master coopers underline the authentic brewery atmosphere. The Small Šalanda Lounge is a cosy space with a capacity of 30 people.

The large Šalanda Lounge has a capacity of up to 50 people, which makes it an ideal venue for bigger celebrations, company parties or other important events. You will definitely be impressed by the authentic atmosphere of our lagering cellars. Together with non-filtered and unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell beer, this will make for an unforgettable evening.
